Hampton Associates sponsor Aberdeen Arts Centre Artist in Residence

Hampton Associates are pleased to be sponsoring Alicia Bruce, this year's artist in residence at Aberdeen Arts Centre, by designing promotional material to support her Digital Photography Workshops taking place throughout April and May 2008.

Alicia, originally from Aberdeen and former volunteer at the Arts Centre, predominantly works in photography and moving image with the photographic portrait and the self portrait key aspects of her work. All Alicia's recent projects have been community based and are a direct result of socially engaged art practice.

Alicia is running four themed photographic workshops, as well as creating her own body of work, with the final results to be presented as part of the Artist in Residence 2008 Exhibition at the Aberdeen Arts Centre from 7th June - 4th July 2008.

Now based in Edinburgh, Alicia has exhibited and presented work at various arts venues throughout Scotland including Peacock Visual Arts, Stills Gallery, Beyond Words and Aberdeen Arts Centre.
