We love this odd little film about our home town.
Created in the 1980's by director, producer and writer Harold Baim and starring the voice of Hollywood and TV acting legend Telly Savalas; it's an example of a "quota quickie" which was part of a requirement at the time that UK cinemas showed a set percentage of British produced films.
It would have been preceded by an insanely garish ad for an "Indian Restaurant, just 200 yards from the cinema!" and various ads for sweets so full of E numbers that Mums and Dads would have been peeling their kids from the roof of the cinema, never mind watching the film.
Anyway we love it - Here's lookin' at ya Aberdeen!
