Music is pretty important to designers, it's a source of inspiration, and is a big part of many successful studios. I could say, "As the chords, beats or even bleeps of any give song stream through the brain of the creative type it unblocks something unique and a deluge of creativity flows forth" or some other pretentious nonsense, hmm i kinda just did! The simple fact of the matter is we love music (who doesn't) and we're allowed to listen to our music at work, which is brilliant!
So what we thought we do is give you a wee glimpse of the music we listen to in the studio week in week out, and via the wonder of Spotify, actually give you the opportunity to listen to it. Every Friday (well every Friday we can) we'll post a link to a Spotify playlist along with a track list and maybe a wee bit of blurb about the music we've picked and about the people who picked it. We think it's an interesting way for you to get to know us a little better, and hopefully we'll get to know you too if you choose to leave a comment (see below).
Since this is our first Studio Soundtrack we thought we'd give you a flavour of some of the music we listen to in the studio, some of it's recent some of it's not but we think it's all good, so click the link below and enjoy!
Here's the link: HAMPTON STUDIO SOUNDTRACK #1
